Annual Meeting

The board of directors, along with your team at Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative would like to invite you to the 2024 Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the business meeting beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m.

MEC will provide light refreshments.

We encourage all Members to participate in the upcoming election of your board of directors by completing and returning the proxy card enclosed with your April or May electric bill. The card authorizes the Proxy Committee to vote for the slate of directors selected by the MEC Members on the Nominating Committee. Return the proxy with your bill payment or in a separate envelope to MEC, P.O. Box 2451, Chase City, VA 23924.

MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT … COMPLETE AND RETURN THE PROXY VOTE CARD INCLUDED IN YOUR APRIL/MAY BILLING STATEMENT!

All Members who fully complete and return their proxy cards by June 12 will be entered into drawings for the following electric bill credits:

Grand Prize – $500 credit

5 Prizes – $250 credit

5 Prizes – $100 credit

5 Prizes – $50 credit

It’s easy to vote!

Remember to complete both sides of the card.
Place a check mark in the boxes beside the names of the candidates you support in each district.
Sign your name EXACTLY as it is printed on your electric bill.
Fill in the date that you complete the card.
Return the proxy with your bill payment or in a separate envelope to: MEC, P.O. Box 2451, Chase City, VA
