National Wear Red Day®

Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative

On National Wear Red Day®, February 6, 2015, many of Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative employees at the Chase City location, Emporia and Gretna District wore red clothing to show their support of heart disease awareness and prevention, in efforts to help women learn their risk for heart disease. This national movement helps give a wakeup call to all women about the importance of knowing their risk for heart disease, the #1 killer of women. Making small healthy changes to their everyday life can help them lead heart healthy and productive lives. These pictures also appear on Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative’s Facebook page.
